SCHOOL LABORATORIES
The practical knowledge is placed on an equal footing with theoretical knowledge for the all round development of students. For this purpose, the school has labs in numerous disciplines which provide in depth knowledge to students.
The school has a separate science block & research centre with the latest equipments & spacious laboratories for Information Technology, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Home Science, Psychology & Computers. Experimentation is a way of life for young budding scientists.
PHYSICS LAB
AMNM Model School’s physics lab is well equipped with models, charts, apparatus, equipment kits and other study materials with working tables for Physics projects. Each lab accommodates about 20-30 students at a time. The lab infra along with faculty & lab assistants help students understand wave formation and propagation, phenomena involving reflection and refraction of light, properties of matter, electricity, magnetic effects of electric current, semiconductor devices etc.
CHEMISTRY LAB
AMNM Model School has an advanced chemistry lab. Keeping the latest curriculum in mind, the models, specimens, charts, chemicals etc. have been housed in the chemistry lab. The students are guided for their class projects by the experienced faculty & well-trained lab assistants. Special care is taken to encourage innovative ideas among students to carry out the projects related to their curriculum.
BIOLOGY LAB
At AMNM Model School, the biology lab is well-equipped with advanced instruments, microscopes & computers to give the students relevant information about the unicellular and multicellular organisms.
HOME SCIENCE LAB
Home Science is an integral part of the CBSE curriculum as an optional subject. It is a unique field of knowledge with its major thrust in bringing science and everyday life together. It is aimed at preparing students in improving the quality of life smoothly at home as well as starting a career in various government and private sectors. Some activities performed by the Home-Science students in the Home Science Labs at AMNM Model School are diet planning for regular and therapeutic needs, flower arrangement, floor decoration, block-printing, stitching, cooking, table setting & more.
PSYCHOLOGY LAB
The Psychology laboratory at ARNM Model school provides different kinds of standardized tests such as intelligence test, creativity test, anxiety or stress test, emotion test, behavioural problems, interest test, aptitude test, etc. useful for various age groups.
COMPUTER LAB
Computer Science is a compulsory subject in the School and AMNM Model School’s Computer Labs offer a lot of scope for all the children to acquire hands-on training on Computers. Computer education begins right from Class 1. Computers will also be used as a means to learn other subjects. The computer labs will also facilitate senior students to acquire programming skills. The School also has a wide collection of interesting and educational CDs on a variety of subjects.
